Korea’s Largest Bank To Launch a Digital Asset Custody

Blockchain is part of the bank's strategy on digital transformation

KB Kookmin, the largest bank in South Korea, prepares to launch a digital asset custody offering.

To do it, the institution is teaming up with Atomrigs Consulting, that develops software named Lime. It shall secure digital assets with use of secure MPC technology. The aim of this collaboration is to develop digital asset protection technology and applications for smart contracts. The cooperation envisages developement of a blockchain network and a related ecosystem.
