Alibaba, the Chinese internet giant, enters into a strategic partnership with Aerospace Information Co, software developers, also based in China.
The two firms intend to cooperate in blockchain, cloud services, and smart services, in the B2B sector. They will also focus on blockchain-based systems in tax and finance adminstration for public structures.
The strategy in the proposed cooperation is based on blockchain based cloud computing. For the B2B sector, the partners plan to develop credit reporting and office-on-the-go services.
Aerospace Information is famous in the industry with in China for its software for anti-counterfeit tax-control invoicing. It also provides solutions for remote tax reporting. The firm hopes to streamline this process with the Alibaba’s Cloud Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS).
Alibaba is a well-known player behind online sales, but it is also known for its cloud computing capabilities and own Cloud Blockchain-as-a-Service (Baas) system. The BaaS is meant to allow businesses to build their own blockchain-based platforms where they can directly manage deployment, maintenance, and operations.
